This course equips participants with the skills to work as forklift operators in warehousing and production environments. The training covers loading and unloading materials and finished goods, moving materials throughout the warehouse, positioning forks and other lifting devices, identifying damage and reporting shortages or quality issues, and inventory management. This course also teaches participants about preparing materials for shipment, along with securing freight, weighing materials, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Coursework moves through forklift components and maintenance, inspections, operation basics, load handling techniques, and required safety protocols. Participants who successfully complete the theory and hands on lab for this course earn an ACCS credential.
