Theatre

The Shelton State Theatre Department offers students education, training, and experience in theatre performance and technical theatre. Through department productions and a unique partnership with Theatre Tuscaloosa, students gain practical experience working both onstage and backstage with numerous faculty, professional theatre artists, and an experienced support staff. Students not only hone their craft in the classroom, but they also learn to apply it while being mentored in a professional environment.
